The Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) Yves Sotiran said on Monday 28 June 2021 that vaccination against Corona virus would only be part of the solution and would not be sufficient to fight the covid 19 in Tunisia.

Sotiran,explained  in a media statement on the sidelines of a meeting of the Parliament’s Headquarters, that  Tunisia’s counterparts on the anti-Corona virus will not be sufficient

He called for the need for Tunisia to tighten over the extent of commitment to the application of all procedures for all health protocols and support and awareness-raising campaigns in this regard and urged citizens to adhere to preventive measures, especially as Tunisia has dangerous influence in this case.

He said Tunisia had received 604,000 doses of vaccination as part of the Kovax initiative, as this quantity is below the expected quantity that Tunisia was expected to be obtained to the month of June and the specified for 750,000 doses, insisting that they will receive during the period Coming on the quantitative quantity which exceeds 140 thousand doses.

He added that Tunisia will receive additional amounts of anti-Corona anti-virus in the Covax initiative of 324,000 doses.
