Neji Jalloul, head of the Tunisian National Coalition Party, considered the possibility of resorting to the Paris Club.

Jalloul commented on the statement of the governor of the Central Bank when he stated that Tunisia does not have to go to the Paris Club, saying, “Let him say what he wants,” stressing that the situation is catastrophic due to the state’s tendency to borrow to pay wages and loans.

On the sidelines of a party meeting in Sousse on Sunday, December 19, 2021, he stressed the need for the state to stop borrowing to pay wages.

Jalloul also suggested that the national army supervise “the ministries that are rife with corruption, which are Equipment, State property, Real Estate Affairs and Agriculture,” as he put it.

He mentioned that the “Rejim Maatoug” project, which is considered one of the best development projects in Tunisia, was supervised by the army.

Commenting on the criticism that accompanied the recent appointments at the head of a number of governorates due to their closeness and loyalty to the President of the Republic, Jalloul said, “Whoever wins the elections, rules… Saied won the elections, so he appoints whomever he wants. This is the logic’’

Jalloul also said: “I raised the slogan Enough of the trick and show the outcome to the Troika, and I will raise the same slogan to Kais Saied after a year if he does not present the outcome of his work.”
