The King of Morocco, Mohamed VI, returned yesterday Saturday during his speech on the 22nd anniversary of the feast of the Throne on the relationship between Algeria and Morocco.

Mohamed VI says he is not satisfied with the current state of these relations, “because it does not serve the respective interests of our two peoples. It is even considered unacceptable by many countries. ”

He also addressed the issue of closing land borders between the two countries. For him, the “normal state of affairs” between Algeria and Morocco is that the borders “are and remain open”.

Mohamed VI also said that the “reasons which led to the closure of the borders are totally outdated and are no longer valid today.”
