The spokesman of the Administrative Court of Tunisia, Imed Ghabri , told Jdd-Tunisie that the former Attorney General of the Court of First Instance of Tunisia, Bechir Akremi , submitted two appeals against the execution to the first president of the Administrative Court, the first concerning the suspension of the implementation of the decision of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary to suspend him from work, and the second request concerning the suspension of the implementation of the decision in charge of running the Ministry of Interior, which put him under house arrest.

He explained that the Administrative Court will issue its decision within a month or more after a campaign of judicial work.

The first President of the Administrative Court is expected to decide on these requirements in the next few days.

On July 31, 2021, former Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of Tunisia Bechir Akremi was placed under house arrest.

This decision was issued by the minister of interior in charge, which stipulates that Al-Akremi will be prevented from leaving his residence for 40 days renewable, and that contact with him is prevented except through a means of communication licensed by those who have the right to consider the implementation of the decisions of the public authority, according to Al Wataniya Channel 1.

On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, the Judicial Judicial Council announced the suspension of Judge Al-Bashir al-Akrami pending a decision on what he is accused of.
The Judicial Judicial Council also decided to refer Akrami’s file to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for action pursuant to chapter 63 of the Supreme Judicial Council Act.
