By bfifteen days, country hospitals will be installed in different parts of the country, including those who record an increase in the number of coronavirus contaminations including Greater Tunis (Manouba, Ben Arous and Ariana), has announced Saturday, the Minister of Health, Faouzi Mehdi.
In a statement to the media at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis, Mehdi explained that a national committee is currently working on the study of possible spaces for the implementation of these hospitals and the assessment of human resource requirements, equipment and medical devices, recalling that country hospitals are already installed in the governorates of Beja, Siliana, Kairouan and Zaghouan.
According to the minister, the epidemiological situation is dangerous, given the increase in hospitalizations, deaths and new contaminations.Faouzi Mehdi.
He added that sequencing operations are continuing to identify the characteristics of new variants detected emphasizing that screening operations will also be strengthened.
