Researcher Aicha Guellali wrote this book in celebration of the Dean of Tunisian journalists, Taoufik Boughdir (November 1916-January 2010) and in memory of him on the tenth anniversary of his death.

In this book, Dr. Aicha Guellali chose to shed light on the journalistic itinerary of Taoufik Boughdir in the Al-Amal (Work) newspaper in which he worked and published most of his articles, which numbered hundreds.

In her selection, Guellali focused on articles related to music criticism due to her specialization in this field.

The book also contains a very important documentary part, represented in the autobiographical text of Taoufik Boughdir in his handwriting, a number of his press articles, and a documentary table that includes the journalistic material of Taoufik Boughdir published in Al-Amal newspaper between 1957 and 1964.

It should be noted that Taoufik Boughdir is a Tunisian journalist known as the dean of Tunisian journalists. He has worked in the written, audio and video press since the 1930s.

Boughdir is considered one of the founders of the Tunisia Africa News Agency, in which he was entrusted with heading the cultural department since its establishment.

This book translates the author’s belief in the need to collect our cultural heritage and to know what knowledge is available to us in newspapers and magazines.
