On Saturday, May 1, Secretary-General of the Tunisian General Labor Union, Noureddine Al-Taboubi, confirmed that the political, economic and social scene that Tunisia has reached today, which is now predicting the worst risks, is calling for the truth to be told.
Al-Taboubi explained that the situation has worsened even more since the start of the ministerial modification, through the problem of establishing the Constitutional Court, and ending with recent appointments in sensitive positions in the country. This is what deepened the rupture between the components of the legislative and executive powers, which became predictors of the disintegration of the state apparatus.
He added that the economy is on the verge of collapse and its various indicators are warning of the worst numbers, a collapse confirmed by a continuous decline in Tunisia’s sovereign numbering and a comprehensive deficit of most financial, commercial and other budgets, in addition to the negative growth of various sectors and the closure of many small and medium enterprises due to their inability to withstand, and the exposure of the owners of some of them to the legal implications and the referral of thousands of workers to unemployment due to the inherent fragility of the economic model, as he put it.
