Chawki Tabib, former dean of lawyers and former head of the Anti-Corruption Commission, announced today, Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in a post on the social networking site Facebook, that today, through one of his fellow lawyers in Switzerland, he filed a first grievance petition before the High Commissioner for Human Rights and a second petition before the Special Rapporteur on Independence Judges and lawyers at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, against Ridha Gharslawi, who is charged with running the affairs of the Ministry of Interior and anyone who will be uncovered by the research, “for the crime of enforced disappearance and a number of other crimes committed against him.”

It is noteworthy that Chawki Tabib announced on Friday, August 20, 2021, in a post on his Facebook site, that a decision was issued by the person in charge of running the Ministry of Interior, ordering him to be placed under house arrest, and the doctor considered that this was a clear violation of his rights guaranteed by law and the constitution.
