Professor of Constitutional Law Mona Kraiem considered that Presidential Order No. 117 of September 22, 2021, issued in the Official Gazette, establishes a dictatorship in the fullest sense of the word.
The professor of constitutional law said in a post on her Facebook account that the president had seized the legislative and all executive power, and his decisions were not subject to appeal, as she put it, and she continued, “Whoever participated in preparing this order bears his/her responsibility before history, and history is ruthless. We have come out of the state of exception and entered into a state of arbitrariness.”
