The official spokeswoman for the courts of Monastir and Mahdia, Rawda Al-Reima, announced Friday, 13 October 2021, that it was decided to authorize the opening of an investigation by the first investigating judge of the Court of First Instance in Mahdia to find out all the data related to the suspicion of the seizure of state properties by judges in Mahdia, after informing the public prosecutor of Mahdia about the availability of data and documents circulated by some media.

It should be noted that, on the basis of official documents, Radio Monastir confirmed that judges of the Court of First Instance in Mahdia deliberately forged merits to seize land on the state property of The Rejesh Accreditation from Mahdia Province.

She explained that a number of judges had purchased land in which they had rejected litigants and then seized it through twisted roads and registered it with the commercial register, while chapter 566 of the Civil Journal prevented judges, court clerks, lawyers and litigants from earning by purchasing or transferring some of the disputed rights to the courts in which they were engaged, whether by purchasing and referring in their name or in the name of others.

We note that JDD Tunisie tried to contact the official spokeswoman of the Courts of Monastir and Mahdia to explain the reasons for the public prosecutor’s pledge to present the file while the accused judges work in the same judicial chamber, without reply.
