In a statement issued today, on July 31th 2021, Ennahda announced its keenness to devote state institutions and political forces in the country with interest in the health and economic sector in a way that helps the Tunisian people alleviate their aggravating suffering.
And it considered that the exceptional measures resorted to by the President of the Republic are measures that violate the constitution and the law, and that they are an explicit attack on the requirements of democracy and the individual and civil rights of the Tunisian people, and implicate state institutions in conflicts that hinder them from carrying out their duty to serve the country and the citizen.
It should be mentioned that, Ennahda also called on all national forces, parties, organizations and associations to agree on a national minimum that guarantees the speedy return to constitutional and legal life and protects the country’s stability and unity
