On Thursday afternoon, December 16, at the Government Palace in the Kasbah, a working session was held between the government and the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, under the supervision of Prime Minister Najla Bouden Ramdan, and in the presence of a number of government members and a delegation from the executive office of the union headed by Samir Majoul.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister stressed the openness to the various opinions and proposals presented by national organizations in their areas of interest in serving public affairs, which would meet the expectations of citizens, noting that the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts is an important economic partner capable of presenting initiatives and visions aimed at reviving the national economy by supporting the efforts of the state in promoting development projects in the regions, supporting economic institutions and increasing the operational capacity of emerging institutions in a number of sectors, as well as raising competitiveness and creating wealth.
During this session, the most important features of the reform program that the government intends to implement in the coming period in a number of economic, social and development fields at the national and regional levels were reviewed.
Emphasis was also placed on further consultation on the most important axes included in it, taking into account the opinions of a number of relevant national organizations.
