A presidential decree has just been published in the issue of JORT (N ° 1443 of September 15, 2021), approving the retrocession to the State of the allocation of special drawing rights granted by the International Monetary Fund to Tunisia , subject of the agreement concluded on September 14, 2021 between the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Investment Support and the Central Bank of Tunisia.

It approved, in its first article, the retrocession to the State of the allocation of special drawing rights in the amount of five hundred and twenty-two million, five hundred and forty-nine thousand and six hundred and eighty rights. special drawing (522,549,680 SDR) granted to Tunisia by the International Monetary Fund, subject of the agreement annexed to this Presidential Decree, concluded on September 14, 2021 between the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Support to investment and the Central Bank of Tunisia.

The Tunisian State reimburses the commission applied for the use of the aforementioned amount, for the benefit of the International Monetary Fund, as well as the principal of the amount, in the event of cancellation of the allowance, in accordance with the procedures in force. with the Fund set out in the aforementioned agreement.
