Today, Tuesday, July 13, 2021, a plane carrying 500,000 doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine, provided by the UAE to Tunisia, arrived in Tunisia to support medical efforts in the country.
Rashid Mohammed Al-Mansoori, the UAE’s ambassador to Tunisia, said, “The wise leadership’s directives to send doses of Covid-19 vaccines come within the framework of the UAE’s support for the brotherly Tunisian people in facing the health conditions that Tunisia is witnessing as a result of the Corona pandemic.”
He explained that it is not the first time that the UAE has provided medical support to Tunisia, as it sent, during the month of November 2020, an aircraft carrying urgent medical materials, which included 11 tons of medical equipment, examination and diagnostic devices, as well as artificial respirators, mobile units for this purpose, and protection and prevention tools for workers in the medical sector.
