Trade exchanges between Tunisia and the Zionist entity amounted to more than 72 million dinars between 2008 and 2017, according to statistics published on the websites of international financial and economic institutions such as the World Bank.

Tunisia exported 21 million dinars to the Zionist entity, while it imported 51.6 million dinars from the same destination, during the same period of time.

The most prominent Tunisian products acquired by the entity are electrical materials, textiles, clothes, oils, foodstuffs, shoes, plastics, sanitary and glass materials, toys, entertainment items, auto parts, grains and their derivatives, and perfumes.

It is noteworthy that the Tunisian political scene has known since the launch of the last Zionist aggression on occupied Palestine a wide debate regarding the criminalization of normalization with the Zionist side, as many Tunisian cities have known demonstrations demanding the legalization of this criminalization, while two draft laws submitted by opposition parties are still on the shelves of Parliament.
