The Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) called on its official page, Sunday 30 May 2021, to intercept the ship “EKATERINA”, which raises the Maltese flag and is sailing between the commercial port of Rades and the port of Ashdod of Israel, indicating that it will arrive tonight at the Tunsian port of Rades.

A high-ranking source from the customs office told “JDD Tunisie” that the ship (EkATERINA) (IMO: 9158458, MMSI: 215776000) entered the port of Rades on May 5, 2021, coming from Bulgaria.

The same source added that the Maltese vessel was carrying wheat shipment coming from Bulgaria and unloaded its cargo, then it left on May 28 towards the port of Ashdod without carrying any cargo.

The website www.vesselfinder.com, which monitors the movement of ships and vessels, shows that Ekaterina actually arrived in Tunisia on May 5, but left after 16 days and 22 hours, that is, on May 22 and arrived at the port of Ashdod on May 27 and left on May 28 at one o’clock without revealing its destination.

On the other hand, and with further investigation, informed sources revealed to “JDD Tunisie”, who refused to reveal her identity, that the Ekaterina ship is now heading towards the Aschdod sea port in the occupied territories, which is the same destination from which it came.

Our sources report that the owner of the ship of goods is from Belarus, while the ship raises the flag of Malta, knowing that it docked in the port of Rades on May 27 at 4:47 minutes and left it on May 28 at 14 and 8 minutes.

The owner of the aforementioned ship did not respect the berthing procedures and the procedures of the RAD according to our sources, as he is supposed to wait about two weeks for his turn to take place, but he was distinguished from the rest of the ships and left before the legal period expired.
