The Presidency of the Republic announced that the United States of America will, in the near future, grant our country a gift of 500,000 doses of anti-Corona vaccinations.
A statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic stated that this donation came “an embodiment of the tireless diplomatic efforts it is making to provide vaccines against Covid-19, and it reflects the historical friendship between Tunisia and the United States of America.”
The statement added that the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, seeks to intensify communication and enhance cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries to provide vaccines and other necessary medical equipment to combat the rapid spread of this pandemic in Tunisia.
It should be noted that, United States had announced, earlier, a program to grant developing countries, including Tunisia, quantities of Corona vaccines.
