Kais Saïed, President of the Republic, published on Monday a decree imposing the suspension of work in central administrations, external services, local authorities and public administrative establishments for a period of two days from tomorrow. Tuesday July 27, 2021.
It should be noted that the blockage can be extended by order of the Presidency of the Republic.
This decree allows all the ministers concerned or the heads of local authorities to take decisions to charge a number of employees with face-to-face or remote sessions.
According to the same source, the administrative structures that offer online administrative services are responsible for ensuring continuity of work.
The direct head at each administrative structure can issue permits to provide other administrative services or to take action remotely via electronic emails.
It should be mentioned that, the decree does not concern the internal security forces, the army, customs officers and employees working in public health establishments.
Employees of education, training and higher education establishments are governed by specific measures.
