The survey of opinions conducted by Emrud Consulting on the political barometer for the month of August 2021, and its results were published today, revealed that the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, led the intentions of voting for the presidential elections by 82%, after the percentage was in the range of 44% during the last month.
Intentions to vote for Free Constitutional President Abeer Moussa fell to only 3%, down from 14% last month, according to an opinion poll.
Also, 2% of the respondents expressed their intention to vote for Al-Safi Saeed.
Twenty percent of those surveyed did not state their intentions to vote for the presidency.
As for voting intentions in the legislative elections, the Free Destourian Party came first with 30 percent, followed by Kais Saied’s party with 20 percent, then an independent list with 18 percent, and the Ennahda movement ranked fourth with 15 percent.
And 69 percent of the respondents did not declare their intentions to vote in the legislature.
The poll was conducted between 27 and 30 August 2021 and included a sample of 1,400 people registered in the electoral commission’s registry and belonging to various states of the republic, including cities and rural areas.
The ages of the respondents ranged from 18 years and over, and they belonged to all segments of society in terms of demographic composition, and the margin of error was estimated at 2.6 percent.
