The President of the Republic declared that he had taken time since the announcement of the exceptional measures on July 25 to be able to sort out the Free Patriots from others “until the last fig leaf with which they were desperately trying to cover their nakedness fell from them.”
The head of state said that the issue is not about a government as much as it is an issue of a complete system, stressing that he resorted to exceptional measures only to preserve the homeland.
The President of the Republic also said that modesty prevented him from talking about “the traitors who sold their homeland,” as he put it.
Saied pledged that he will not harm anyone and will not file any case against anyone.
In addition, he stressed that there will never be a return to the pre-July 25th status, pointing to the improvement in the returns of many public facilities after the announcement of exceptional measures on July 25.
