On the evening of Sunday, August 8, 2021, the Presidency of the Republic expressed its deep thanks to all the medical, paramedical, military and civilian frameworks participating in the vaccination open day, and to all ministries, structures, national organizations, components of civil society and volunteers who contributed to the success of this exceptional initiative with a sincere will, firm determination and a high patriotic spirit.
The Presidency of the Republic confirmed, in a statement, that the days of intensive vaccination will continue in the near future.
The number of people who received the first dose of vaccination, within the framework of the opening day of the intensive vaccination operations authorized by the Head of State, reached 551.008 citizens.
