The head of the government Hichem Mechichi has had a series of meetings with the representative parties and parliamentary blocks that support it according to the presidency of the government.
These meetings were an opportunity to discuss the latest developments on national political and economic scenes and to address the means likely to overcome the difficulties hindering the action of the government and to be able to solve the political crisis in which the country is struggling. .
The head of the government has, in this context, met with elected officials of the Parliamentary Blocks of Ennahdha, Qalb Tounes, Reform, Watania and Tahya Tounes.
He listened to their proposals to meet the challenges posed by the difficult economic and social crisis and the sanitary situation due to the spread of the Pandemic of Covid-19.
According to Mechichi, the current situation of socioeconomic crisis appeals to the solidarity of all Tunisians, political actors and state institutions. “The time requires unifying efforts to get out of the crisis and to avoid all the tiraillements and political outbreakers that only aggravate the situation”, read in a statement of the Presidency of the Government.
Participants affirmed their determination to support government action plans in different areas and support its programs, particularly in the economic, social and development fields.
They also insisted on the need for better coordination between the government and Parliament at the legislative level.
