Leila Ben Ali’s friend appeared the day on Monday, October 4 th before the criminal department specialized in looking into in the cases of financial corruption in the financial economic pole in the capital, a woman accused in her fifties took advantage of her friendship from the wife of former President Ben Ali and obtained through favoritism a plot of land without respecting the law and the procedures in place to benefit from the aforementioned plot of land, which caused damages to the state.
It is worth mentioning that, the court found that the result of the test that it authorized to determine the abuses and damages that occurred to the state had not yet been received, so it decided to delay the case because it was pending.
