It should be noted that the inhabitants of Kairouan organized a protest rally in front of the headquarters of the governorate following the unprecedented deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the region.
Protesters called for the establishment of a field hospital as soon as possible, given the poor health infrastructure in the governorate.
