In a continuation of the government’s consultation sessions with international donor institutions, Prime Minister Najla Bouden Romdhan spoke, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, online, with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Ms. Odile Renaud-Basso.
This meeting was attended by Minister of Finance Siham Boughdiri Namsieh, Minister of Economy and Planning Samir Saied, Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy Ms. Nayla Al-Kanji, Secretary of State in charge of investment Aida Hamdi, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank Nadia Kamha, and a number of members of the Prime Minister’s office.
The meeting represented an opportunity to exchange views on possible areas of cooperation between our country and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the need to develop it in order to benefit both parties.
For her part, the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development stressed that the priorities of the Bank’s work in the coming period revolve around climate change, energy, housing and digitization, adding that these sectors provide Tunisia and the EBRD with promising opportunities for cooperation and partnership.
