The Presidency of the Republic split, in the evening of friday, September 10, a communiqué in which the Head of State Kais Saied refutes all the slanders and allegations, peddled around his meetings with personalities or foreign delegations. Without specifying either the nature or the origin.
The President of the Republic made it clear that during these meetings he stressed that Tunisia is a sovereign state and that sovereignty belongs to the people and that there is no room for any interference in their choices that stem from the popular will. He added that Tunisia will never accept to be in the place of the student who receives the lessons and who is waiting for the grade that will be assigned to him or the observation that will be mentioned in his report card.
The sovereignty of the Tunisian state and the choices of its people have not been set only the table and they will never be the subject of negotiations with any party, he said.
