On the fifth national day of mass vaccination against the coronavirus, held on Saturday, September 11, 486,559 doses were administered in 388 centers across the country.
According to the latest figures published this Sunday morning, September 12, by the Ministry of Health, 72.91% of people aged between 18-39 years who received, on August 15, the first dose, have completed, yesterday, their vaccination schedule.
According to the same source, on this fifth day of vaccination, the region of Sfax recorded the highest number of vaccinated (49870), followed by the region of Tunis (49458), then the region of Nabeul (43748).
The fifth national day of mass vaccination was dedicated to people aged between 18-39 years who received the first dose on August 15, young people aged between 15 and 17 years (1st dose) and people aged 40 years and over (1st or 2nd dose).
It should be recalled that the first national day of mass vaccination against the coronavirus was organized on August 8 and made it possible to vaccinate 551008 people aged 40 years and over (1st dose).
A second day was organized on August 15 and made it possible to vaccinate 596164 people aged between 18 and 39 years (1st dose).
A third day was organized on August 29 and allowed to vaccinate (1st dose), 467631 people including 266942 are aged 40 years and over and 200689 people aged between 15 and 39 years.
