The president of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People, Rached Ghannouchi visited, late at night from Sunday to Monday  the Parliament in Bardo, with his vice-president, Samira Chaouachi, Noureddine Bhiri and deputies of the Ennahdha party followed by Party deputy Itilef Al Karama Seifeddine Makhlouf.

It should be mentioned that the army deployed in front of the Assembly headquarters denied them access. The surroundings were blocked and deputies were prevented from entering the government palace.

Ennahdha supporters have scaled the outer wall and the police are trying to stop them while the military units are in consultation with them to convince them not to enter the ARP headquarters.

Recall that after the announcement of the Head of State Kaïs Saïed, last night, the freezing of the activities of the Parliament and the dismissal of the head of government, Hichem Mechichi, the president of the Assembly of the representatives of the people, Rached Ghannouchi, accused the President of the Republic of turning against the Revolution and the Constitution.
