The official spokesman of the Ennahda movement, Fathi Ayadi, told JDD Tunisie this evening, Sunday, July 25, 2021, that the decisions of the President of the Republic have nothing to do with the law and the constitution, and they are bypassing the constitution and an attempted coup that will fail.
He added that state institutions are still in place, noting that the movement’s structures will meet to approve what it deems appropriate and will defend the revolution, according to him.
It is worth mentioning that President Saied had decided to freeze the parliament’s work, lift the immunity of the deputies, assume the presidency of the executive authority and relieve the prime minister.
