In July 2020, a deputy published a post on his official page on social networking sites in which he threatens to prevent journalists from entering the Assembly of People’s Representatives, following a controversy that occurred on the occasion of journalists exercising their right to cover the sit-in carried out by the Free Constitutional Bloc inside the dome of the Assembly.
The Public Prosecution charged him with “accusing officials of crimes without providing evidence, insulting others through communication networks, defamation, and insulting a public official while performing his job.”
