Foreign Minister Othman Jerandi called on the international community to the need for emergency action to support Libyan authority in this transitional phase and avoid potential reversal of the situation.
During his intervention, Jerandi warned against the risk of active terrorist groups in the Sahel and Sahara regions, take advantage of the situation to destabilize the neighborhood countries, through trafficking in human beings, organized crime. and irregular migration.
The minister also recalled the efforts of Tunisia to bring together the views between Libyan factions that allowed the development of a roadmap at the Tunis meeting on the Interlibyen dialogue (November 2020), organized at the ‘initiative of the President of the Republic Kais Saied.
He reiterated the provision of Tunisia to involve his expertise at the legislative, legal and constitutional level to help Libyans make the next political deadlines succeed.
It should be noted that the minister was speaking on Wednesday at the Berlin 2 conference attended by a high-level Libyan delegation led by the President of the Government Abdelhamid Dbiba according to the Agency Tunis Africa Presse (TAP)
