President Kais Saied landed at Rome Ciampino airport on Wednesday as part of a two-day official visit, at the invitation of his Italian counterpart Serjio Mattarella.
Accompanied by Foreign Minister Othman Jerandi, Saied was received by Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, Tunisian Ambassador to Italy, Moez Sinaoui and around ten Arab ambassadors.
This visit aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields and to exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest, according to the Presidency of the Republic k.
